Flock Guards BBC News - alpacas used for chicken protection in Cornwall. Lakeham Alpacas News - we are already doing this in Devon!
BBC News recently screened a Camborne chicken farm using alpacas as flock guards. Near our Exeter farm, we have supplied alpacas to guard both new lambs and chickens against losses to fox predation. Alpacas really dislike foxes - they're not too keen on badgers as well and will chase them away too. |
